Welcome to Maywood Community School!
Welcome! At Maywood we are a community of learners. We’re proud of our school and our students’ many accomplishments.
Our students are learning about the world around them and the skills, knowledge and attitudes they need to be successful, happy citizens. They are encouraged to learn through their diverse classroom experiences, school wide activities and celebrations, a variety of extracurricular sports teams and in-school service opportunities. Maywood provides various supports for students and their families with a hot lunch program, after-school programs, a Strong Start program and much more. Parents and family members are encouraged to learn more about our school by attending Community Council meetings, home-school meetings, and joining us for our community events. Our dedicated staff continually work together to learn new ways of engaging students and increase learning. We have a strong English Language Learning and learning support program for students with diverse learning needs.
