On Friday, Sept. 20th students in grades K to 7 will be taking part in the annual Terry Fox School Run. Students will go in small groups over to the field at Bonsor to do their 30-minute run with other students. Kindergarten students will stay at Maywood to do their run.
Our school is proud to take part in this year’s 44th Anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. Students will have the opportunity to discuss and reflect on the heroic efforts of Terry over the next couple of weeks as well as raise much-needed funds for cancer research. Through our participation in the Terry Fox School Run, we hope to encourage leadership in our students and create positive agents of change in our wonderful school community.
